WOOHOO OMG SHERLOCK AND JOHN CHRISTMAS COOKIES!
You might have seen these that I did a while back: [link]
So I got this hare-brained idea that if those turned out so well, I wanted to try... silhouettes.
The cookies turned out about 5" tall and they are SO DELICIOUS NUM NUM NUM A)
The John screenshot I used as ref. B)
The matching Sherlock screenshot.C)
Traced, glued, drilled, cut. TAH DAH! (They're insanely fun to play with, it's like those shape-fitting wooden blocks I had as a toddler ONLY BETTER xD)D)
I cut out the John silhouette myself, but I had help with Sherlock E)
I had originally wanted to use the wooden shapes to make cookie cutters... but we bought the wrong type of metal and it was way too thick to work with. I compromised and just pressed the dough into the negatives F)
The cookies baked! Oh my gosh, the smell at this point was heavenly... G-H)
Lookie here! Sherlock and John as sugar cookies!
THEY TASTE SO GOOD.
You should have seen how long it took me to actually bite into the Sherlock I nommed. I couldn't do it, I was laughing so hard...
I think this was the most fun I've ever had baking cookies
